Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ An irregular cabinet meeting held Thursday considered an issue of the excise tax on some oil products. After this, a decision was made to issue a related resolution.
                In accordance with the latter, a money size of the excise tax on petrol with octane number above 90 that imported through the "Sukhbaatar", "Zamyn-Uud", "Ereentsav" and "Altanbulagis" border checkpoints, was increased by MNT 20,000. Before it used to stand at MNT 40,000. The resolution is to come to force from November 20. At the same time, sizes of tax on petrol imported through other remote border checkpoints are not to be increased.
                The cabinet decided not to change the retail price of the fuel at market. A working group headed by Vice-Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy managed to reach an agreement with oil importers on leaveing the fuel retail prices sa they are.
