Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia received Monday a delegation led by John Boehner, a congressman from the Republican Party of the House of Representatives and House Minority Leader of the U.S Congress. The Premier thanked the delegation for visiting Mongolia, and highly valued the support from USA for Mongolia's policy to strengthen the democracy and market economy. He expressed a satisfaction with the intensive inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation between the countries. The Prime Minister said that the visit of the congressmen and other summit visits have significant contribution to forward the bilateral relations and cooperation, and talked about an official visit to the USA paid by S.Batbold, the Foreign Minister of Mongolia to the USA. He expressed his interest to carry out an official visit of the Parliament Speaker to the USA in 2010, and then expressed a confidence that the congressmen will help to organize this visit. During the meeting, S.Bayar thanked the U.S Senate for an approval of the 192nd resolution on supporting development of democracy and economy in Mongolia and widening the bilateral relations. Furthermore, S.Bayar underlined that the collaboration between the countries and the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) are running successfully, and expressed an interest of Mongolia's side to prolong period of projects implemented in scope of the MCA and to implement other new projects. In turn Mr Boehner expressed a satisfaction with visiting Mongolia, and underlined an importance of widening the inter-parliamentary relations between Mongolia and the USA. He also expressed an interest to cooperate with Mongolia in commerce, economy, mining and tourism sectors. At the end of the meeting, Mr Boehner and U.S congressmen--Dan Boren, Dave Camp, Tom Latham, and Greg Walden wished the Premier to gain success at works and received answers on interested issues.
