Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Bayar got a serious injury after falling off a horse last Saturday in Olziit district near Ulaanbaatar. A Government spokesperson S.Batbaatar said S.Bayar visited a race-horse trainer Ganbaatar and then he rode a horse. He fell from his horse after it shied at snow-drift, besides, the Premier were wearing snow boots that were unfit to the stirrup. According to L.Otgontsetseg, a doctor to the Prime Minister, a split has appeared in the vertebra of the left 11th rib. Such kind of injury requires a confinement to bed for 6-12 weeks. The doctor said that the Prime minister must be sent abroad for receiving intensive treatment and having recovered quickly. It is unclear so far when and where S.Bayar will be sent for the treatment. Fortunately, no official visits abroad are scheduled in near term. However, the Prime minister has a lot of urgent works such as discussion of mining agreements of Oyu Tolgoi and Tavan Tolgoi etc. Therefore, Mr Bayar is continuing some urgent works from his home.
