Foreign Minister receives Peace Corps country director

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Ms. Kim Mansaray, newly appointed Country Director for Peace Corps Mongolia, on November 21.


Minister D.Tsogtbaatar emphasized contribution of Peace Corps volunteers to the social development and prosperity of Mongolia, and the importance of their support to foster the interest of Mongolians in learning English.  In this regard, Minister expressed his interest to increase the number of volunteers and promoting volunteer English teachers in high schools.


Ms. Kim Mansaray noted that she is pleased with her appointment in Mongolia and expressed gratitude for continuous support and cooperation with volunteers. Moreover, she highlighted that the volunteers, who worked in Mongolia, always return home with good impression and memories about the country and are willing to visit Mongolia again.


Minister D.Tsogtbaatar handed over the invitation for Dr. Josephine Olsen, Director of the Peace Corps, to visit Mongolia.
