Sales of industrial production reaches MNT 14.8 trillion

/MONTSAME/ In the first 10 months of 2018, the gross industrial output reached
MNT 12.8 trillion, showing an increase of MNT 2.0 trillion (19.0 percent) from
the same period of the previous year. This increase was mainly due to an
increase of mining and quarrying gross output by MNT 1.4 trillion (17.2 percent),
of which, mining of coal increased by MNT 1.1 trillion (54.0 percent) and
mining of metal ores increased by MNT 139.2 (2.81 percent) billion.
In October 2018, the gross industrial output reached MNT 1.5 trillion, increased by MNT 157.4 billion (11.3 percent) compared to the previous month.
In the first 10 months of 2018, the sales of industrial production reached MNT 14.8 trillion, from which MNT 10.2 trillion (68.6 percent) of sales were export.
