Domestic trade sales increases by MNT 1.7 trillion

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the national level, total 85.5 thousand of entities were active in the first nine months of 2018. Of those 34.1 thousand (39.9 percent) were in the wholesale and retail trade sector.
In the first 9 months of 2018 total trade sales reached MNT 11.9 trillion, increased by MNT 1.7 trillion (16.6 percent) compared to the same period of previous year.
Retail trade sales increased by MNT 1.0 trillion (22.5 percent) and wholesale sales by MNT 691.2 billion (12.1 percent) compared to the same period of previous year. 90.2 percent of sales in the trade sector are in Ulaanbaatar.
The total sales of the trade sector increased from 0.1 percent to 86.6 percent in all aimags and the Capital.
