Mongolian ballet dancers perform in International Havana Ballet Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Representing Mongolia, State Honored Artist and Cultural Envoy of Mongolia D.Altankhuyag and State Honored Artist O.Anujin performed on the stages of the National Theatre of Cuba and the Alicia Alonso Grand Theater of Havana on November 6 and November 8.
In the 26th International Havana Ballet Festival, the Mongolian duo showcased a performance with Mongolian characteristics, showing off professional skills and development of ballet in Mongolia.
Apart from the Mongolian artists, best ballet dancers from 21 top countries for classical arts such as the U.S., Canada, Australia, the Great Britain, France and the Republic of Korea participated in the International Havana Ballet Festival 2018, which is ranked at top five among the similar ballet festivals around the world.
At the invitation of the Ambassador of Mongolia to Cuba Ts.Batbayar, State Honored Artist and Cultural Envoy of Mongolia Ts.Altankhuyag performed in the festival for the first time in 2015.
