World Quality Day to be marked

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The World Quality Day (WQD) is celebrated annually on the second Thursday of November around the world. With the UN’s support, the European Organization for Quality, Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers and the American Society for Quality co-suggested WQD, which has been celebrated each year since 1989. This year’s theme is ‘Quality: A question of trust’.
In Mongolia, the day is celebrated as the National Quality Week. Co-organized by the Mongolian Agency for Standard and Metrology and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), a conference will be taking place under the theme, ‘World Quality Day-2018’, at the MNCCI on November 15. A forum and discussion on quality will also take place, alongside an awards ceremony for quality.
