Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the National Pride Day on November 8, the ‘Khaan tsetsen Zurkhaich’ (High wise prophet/astrologer) epic will be performed at the Bogd Khan Palace Museum.

The epic poem will be performed by A.Baldandorj, the 9th generation descendant of the legendary epic-teller Jilkher of Uriankhai.

The ‘High wise prophet’ epic poem is classified as extremely strict and traditionally performed during winter. It is believed that performing the epic poem will close the doors to evils and troubles. The epic will be performed for 8-10 hours with breaks for traditional art performances and meals.
