Mongolia-Japan business matching event to be held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Business Matchmaking event between the Mongolian and Japanese private companies will be held in Corporate Convention Center on November 7.
The event is being co-organized
by Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, Climate Change Project, the
Implementing unit under the Environment and Climate Fund, the Ministry of the
Environment of Japan, Oversees Environment Cooperation Centre and the Business
Council of Mongolia.
Business
organizations will have broad discussions on opportunities to implement
projects and programs in the frame of ‘The Joint Crediting Mechanism’ (JCM) which is for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The
JCM is applicable in 15 sectors that release greenhouse gas the
most.
The
main purpose of this Bilateral Matchmaking event is to introduce eco-friendly technique and services that can reduce
greenhouse gas emissions, to identify possible projects and programs as well as
to connect Mongolian and Japanese businessmen who are interested in cooperating
through the JCM.
