Wreaths laid on War Horses monument in Moscow
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ In a scope of closing 59th ‘Days of Mongolia-Russia friendship’ and 97th
anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries, wreaths were laid at
the War Horses monument in Moscow.
Ambassador of Mongolia to Russia B.Delgermaa,
the Embassy staff and others attended the ceremony. Ambassador B.Delgermaa said, “Within the friendship month, a number of measures
for strengthening traditional bilateral relations have been organized. For instance,
a basketball match named after the Ambassador, chess tournament named after
Mongolia’s prominent political and social figure J.Sambuu, round-table meeting
on the life and works of poet Ts.Damdinsuren, discussion of
Mongolia-Russia researchers as well as others have been organized.”
The War Horses monument was gifted to Russia on the occasion of the 70th
anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War. The monument was
inaugurated in May, 2017, in the Victory Park on the Poklonnaya Hill, Moscow.
