Deputy PM attends SCO Meeting

/MONTSAME/ Delegation led by Deputy PM U.Enkhtuvshin attended the
17th Meeting of the Council of Heads of the Government of the
Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member countries on October 11-12 in
Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting was participated by the SCO Member countries - Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and observer countries – Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran as well as representatives of some international organizations.

U.Enkhtuvshin expressed Mongolia’s position on cooperation
with the SCO. He highlighted that enriching cooperation
within the SCO with economic content and resolving pressing
socio-economic issues of the regional countries would not only give stimulus to
the economic development of the SCO member countries but also it is important for strengthening
reputation of the organization, outspreading positive understanding of it and
ensuring regional security and sustainability.
Furthermore, Deputy PM held meetings with delegates of the meeting to exchange views on bilateral cooperation and state of the SCO.
