Mongolia supports 'Global Call to Action on the World Drug'

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 24, Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh attended the high-level meeting on the ‘Global Call to Action on the World Drug Problem’, which convened during the 73rd session of the United Nations' General Assembly.


 PM U.Khurelsukh met President of the United States Donald Trump  and expressed Mongolia’s support towards his initiative to combat the world drug problem. President Donald Trump extended his appreciation for the official visit of PM U.Khurelsukh to the US.


Afterwards, the sides exchanged views on cooperation between Mongolia and the US. The ‘Global Call to Action on the World Drug Problem’ is aimed at strengthening and intensifying commitment and cooperation of world countries in direction of combating threats of drug. Apart from the US, 130 U.N member states signed up to support the ‘Global Call to Action on the World Drug Problem’ such as Colombia, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Peru, Mali, Malaysia, Singapore, Dominican, Bulgaria, Japan, Republic of Korea, Morocco, Thailand, India, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Estonia, Italia, Russia, China and more.
